Vivo does it again — the X300 Pro is the best camera phone available tod...

The X300 Pro doesn't differ too much from its predecessor, and that's a good thing. Vivo somehow managed to deliver even better cameras, and the result is that the X300 Pro takes the best photos of any phone available today — there's no question about that. The powerful MediaTek internals hold up to demanding tasks, most regions get a massive battery, and there isn't much to fault with the rest of the device. The software has been updated to OriginOS 6 globally, and it is much better to use than the outgoing Funtouch OS — if glitchy occasionally. On the whole, if you're looking to buy a new phone and want the best cameras and a great all-round device, the X300 Pro is the phone to beat.

Pros

  • +Better cameras than the X200 Pro
  • +Vibrant AMOLED panel
  • +Fantastic internals
  • +Good battery life
  • +IP68 and IP69 ingress protection
  • +Telephoto extender is a lot of fun to use

Cons

  • -Select countries get 5,440mAh battery instead
  • -Only four guaranteed Android OS updates
  • -No charger in the box
  • -Software glitchy at times
