switchbot rgbicww floor lamp review...

The SwitchBot RGBICWW Floor Lamp isn't a genuine Philips Hue or even Govee rival on pure lighting finesse, but it’s a budget lamp with a surprisingly solid build, flexible install options, full Matter integration, and just enough flair to keep things fun. At a super-low price-tag (even lower if you shop during sales periods), it’s genuinely hard to fault. If you want the prettiest gradients in the room, you’ll need to pay for them. But if you want a reliable, versatile smart floor lamp that doesn’t feel cheap and plays nicely with every major ecosystem, this is the standout value pick.

Pros

  • Solid build quality
  • Great price
  • Full Matter support
  • Bright colors, clean whites

Cons

  • Visible cable routing
  • Limited scene polish
  • Middling gradients
  • 2.4GHz only

switchbot ai art frame review ai artwork for the home ProsCons...

Ultimately, the SwitchBot AI Art Frame is an interesting addition to any living room or study and offers an exciting way to display your own pictures and screenshots. Thanks to the E-Ink display, art-like motifs in particular are shown to their best advantage, while the screen is noticeably inferior to digital picture frames when it comes to classic photos.

Pros

  • Paper-like display
  • 3 sizes available
  • Strong battery life
  • Many possibilities

Cons

  • Low resolution
  • Brightness could be higher
  • AI Studio with subscription obligation

Pairing a small monitor with this video doorbell is a no-brainer way to get more out of what has become a something of a commodity device.

Pros

switchbot s20 test smart robot vacuum with light and shade ProsCons...

With the SwitchBot S20, SwitchBot is trying to shake up the upper middle class of robot vacuums, but fails in several areas. It starts with the suction power. With 10,000 Pascal, the manufacturer simply lags behind the competition. While the performance can shine on hard floors, it is somewhat weak on carpets. This is especially true for long-pile carpets. In corners, you can also feel that the side brush unfortunately cannot be extended. The RevoRoll mopping system with rotating roller cleans thoroughly and evenly, but disappoints in the edges and corners.

Pros

  • Good cleaning on hard floors
  • High-quality design
  • Clear app operation
  • Matter compatibility
  • Rotating mopping roller

Cons

  • Weak obstacle detection
  • Poor wiping performance around the edges
  • Insufficient corner cleaning
  • Roller cleaning only with cold water

switchbot lock ultra and keypad vision review...

An improvement over the company’s previous smart locks, the SwitchBot Lock Ultra looks neater, has a wider range of installation options, and is more powerful and quieter, too. It’s also full of options to deal with potential problems, including triple power backup, and the option to still use a key. The new KeyPad Vision adds the option for face unlock, which makes this product potentially handsfree in use; you can still use the older, cheaper keypads if you prefer. Slightly more flexibility on when shared lock codes can be used would be nice, but if you want a smart way to upgrade your dumb lock, this Matter compatible option is a brilliant choice.

Pros

  • Clever battery backup system
  • Matter compatible
  • Powerful
  • Wide choice of keypads

Cons

  • Veneers look a little naff
  • No key fob

switchbot k20 pro patrol kit review a fun but flawed robot guard ProsCon...

The SwitchBot K20+ Pro Patrol Kit is such an interesting product, it’s unfortunate that it has so many downsides.

Pros

  • Innovative modular design
  • Camera delivers 3K video resolution
  • Moves around to keep an eye on your home

Cons

  • Pricey
  • App is cluttered and unintuitive
  • Mobile base station can’t cross thresholds as low as 3mm

switchbot floor cleaning robot s20 review...

The SwitchBot S20 is an easy recommendation if you’re after a capable robot vacuum/mop without breaking the bank. Its roller mop system is a standout and on a par with much more premium rivals, it cleans hard floors really well, and its app and integrations are nearly as good as alternatives that cost twice as much. Downsides like noisy docking, average corner coverage, and underwhelming carpet performance at lower suction levels are worth keeping in mind but, overall, the S20 punches well above its price.

Pros

  • Excellent hard floor cleaning
  • Brilliant roller mop system
  • Broad smart home support
  • Great value for money

Cons

  • Average carpet performance
  • Bulky, dated design
  • Noisy docking process
  • Weak corner cleaning

switchbot k11 test the smallest robot vacuum in the world ProsCons...

The SwitchBot K11+ is an exciting robot vacuum that stands out from many of its competitors thanks to its compact design and powerful suction performance. It really comes into its own in smaller homes: The dock takes up little space, the robot itself is maneuverable and, thanks to the suction station, you rarely have to worry about emptying it. The device’s strengths clearly lie in its compact form factor, but also in its good suction power, reliable navigation, smart home integration and app control.

Pros

  • Compact design
  • Carpet boost
  • Good suction power on hard floors
  • Suction station (bag lasts for 90 days)
  • LiDAR navigation
  • Matter compatibility
  • Good price-performance ratio

Cons

  • Wiping function hardly usable
  • Weakness on carpets
  • Limited obstacle detection

switchbot video doorbell test doorbell with separate display ProsCons...

With the Video Doorbell, SwitchBot brings a sophisticated smart doorbell to the market that stands out from many of its competitors. In particular, the indoor screen included in the scope of delivery proves to be a big plus point in practice, as it allows the doorbell to be used independently of a smartphone, making it accessible to the whole family. The combination of 2K camera, color night vision and 165° wide angle ensures impressive image quality, while the AI-supported motion detection and connection to the SwitchBot Lock Ultra round off the range of functions.

Pros

  • Indoor screen included
  • Easy setup & flexible mounting
  • Long battery life
  • Can be used independently of the internet
  • Integration into the SwitchBot ecosystem
  • Flexible storage options
  • Practical additional functions: Indoor monitor also serves as a chime (100 dB), alarm system and offers quick answer function.
  • Good workmanship & IP65 protection

Cons

  • Indoor monitor with low resolution (480 × 272 pixels)
  • Camera quality only average compared to some competitors
  • Animal and vehicle detection only with cloud subscription

switchbot meter pro co2 monitor review...

A neat device for keeping track of temperature, humidity and CO2 levels, the SwitchBot Meter Pro CO2 Monitor gives you an always-on comfort tracker. It collects loads of data, which may be useful to some and really comes alive, in my opinion, when paired with an outdoor sensor. As useful as this device is, it’s expensive and even more so when you include the price of an outdoor temperature sensor. It’s also a little fiddly to use and lacks some basic features, such as a quick way to switch between indoor and outdoor readings.

Pros

  • Neat and compact
  • Shows important information at-a-glance
  • Wall or desk mounted

Cons

  • Can't switch between inside and outside readings
  • Expensive

switchbot hub 3 review...

A powerful upgrade, the SwitchBot Hub 3 adds support for more Matter devices (30), but its real innovation is in how it’s supposed to be used. This isn’t a hub for the cupboard, but something for the desk or wall. With its climate read-out on its screen, it’s a useful information hub, but it’s the clever controls that set it apart from the competition and make it an incredibly useful device.

Pros

  • Expanded Matter support
  • Clever physical controls
  • Wall or bookcase mount

Cons

  • Can't switch between indoor and outdoor temperatures

switchbot roller shade review...

A clever idea, the SwitchBot Roller Shade uses adjustable mounting brackets and a clever cutting system to get them to fit to almost any sized window. That’s great in theory, but it does make these blinds slower to fit than pre-made ones that have been pre-cut to match your window sizes. These blinds are smooth and quiet in operation, and respond quickly when using the wired or Bluetooth remotes. App control can be a bit hit and miss, and occasionally proved slow to respond. It’s good to see Matter support (provided you have a compatible hub). It’s the lack of choice that will put most people off: with just grey or white on offer, the SwitchBot Roller Shade risks being a little dull for most homes.

Pros

  • Cut-to-size at home
  • Lots of control options
  • Solar panel charging

Cons

  • Limited range of colours
  • Fiddly to fit

switchbot k10 pro review affordable robot vacuum cleaner ProsCons...

The SwitchBot K10+ Pro is the world's smallest robot vacuum cleaner with a dust collection base. The manufacturer has increased the suction power by 20 percent compared to its predecessor and redesigned the main brush. In this detailed review, nextpit reveals who the compact robot vacuum cleaner is suitable for and where there is still some catching up to do.

Pros

  • Super compact robot vacuum
  • 4 L dust bag available in the dust collection base
  • Decent suction results in corners
  • Matter-compatible (SwitchBot Hub 2 required)

Cons

  • Minimal improvements compared to the previous model
  • Cannot vacuum and mop simultaneously
  • Poor "mopping function"
