The Xperia 1 VII still flies the flag for features long forgotten elsewhere, which will please the Sony faithful. It takes mostly great photos too, but the old school approach isn’t for everyone.

Whilst not for everybody, the Xperia 1 VII brings a highly premium approach to the build and camera quality, especially with video. It is expensive though and your paying or some niche features.

The Sony Xperia 1 VII is a 6.5-inch smartphone with a sleek and bright display, a grippy body, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On paper, the cameras sound great, but you can only shoot RAW at 12 megapixels, and the telephoto camera looks soft. Apple and Samsung do a better job here.
