While it excels in raw processing power, charging speeds, and a significantly improved camera system, it is held back by aggressive software bloatware and inconsistent ultra-wide camera performance. poco f7 ultra review the true flagship killer of 2025 ProsCons...
The Poco F7 Ultra packs solid performance, a great display, and super-fast charging, making it a true flagship killer. The camera does well for everyday shots, but the lack of a 3.5mm jack and the average ultra-wide camera are a bit disappointing. Still, for the price, you're getting a lot of premium features, which makes it a pretty sweet deal overall.
the poco f7 ultra might be the sharpest mid range camera phone ive ever ...
I've only spent a weekend with this budget Poco camera phone, and I'm already in love. Xiaomi's Poco F7 Ultra is a flagship in disguise, and the camera quality has seriously shocked me. I'm mega impressed with how sharp it can capture a moving subject (like my dog mid-air flying after a tennis ball), and I think in this aspect it might even be better than the Samsung S25 Ultra, which I've recently tested. Despite this being an AI camera phone, it's very subtle. There's no overprocessing images with ultra HDR, but the shots do look very well exposed and sharp in every scene. I'm hoping to dive deeper into the Poco F7 Ultra's camera the more time I spend with it, but as far as first impressions go, this Poco knocked it out of the park for me.
Pros
- Unbelievably sharp images
- Competitively priced
- Nice design
Cons
- Almost too lightweight
- Feels mid-range aside from the camera
POCO F7 Ultra review: The best bargain of 2025...
POCO always knew how to make phones with great hardware, but its devices didn't have the best cameras. It's changing that with the F7 Ultra; the phone is an all-rounder that delivers the latest Qualcomm silicon, a sizable battery, vibrant OLED with 120Hz refresh, and IP68 ingress protection. But where it stands out against its predecessors is the cameras; POCO finally outfitted high-quality auxiliary lenses in addition to a great main camera, and the phone takes much better photos as a result. It still doesn't quite measure up to the best Chinese phones in this regard, but considering what you pay for the phone, the F7 Ultra is the ultimate value-focused flagship of 2025.
Pros
- +Good cameras at the back
- +Great battery life, charging
- +Vibrant OLED panel with Dolby Vision
- +Terrific hardware
- +IP68 ingress protection
- +Outstanding value
Cons
- -Gets hotter than previous years
- -Cameras not as good as rivals
- -Design doesn't stand out as much
