The Deséa is a smart-looking little capsule coffee maker that makes exceptional espresso, but doesn't quite stick the landing when it comes to preparing milk for cappuccinos and macchiatos. It works much better with dairy than plant-based alternatives – but even then, the foam isn't as thick as you'd get with an ordinary steam wand.
